MACY’S FIREWORKS SHOW IS BACK AT THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE

What wouldn’t make Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show better than to have it back at the Brooklyn Bridge? Proud Americans will make their way on July 4, to Lower Manhattan, in New York to witness one of the largest fireworks shows in the nation.

The extravagant showcase will be set to begin at 9:20 p.m., with the fireworks show lasting nearly half an hour. While Macy’s handles the music, pyrotechnical and firework company, Pyro Spectacular, will be working on the spectacular display; which is said to be using over 70,000 special effects to undoubtedly wow the audience.

Many artists will be in the lineup for Macy’s Fireworks Show. This year marks The Wizard of Oz’s 80-year anniversary, which Macy’s will pay their homage to, by having Jennifer Hudson sing her rendition of “Over the Rainbow.”

This 4th of July show by Macy’s will be a special one, as it will be back at the 1,600 foot tall, Brooklyn Bridge. Macy’s will be capitalizing on this return, and ensuring viewers are left with an unforgettable show.

Vice President and Executive Producer for Macy’s Branded Entrainment, Susan Tercero said, “If you’re going to choose something like the Brooklyn Bridge that’s so iconic to New York City and America in general you really want to make sure you’re creating this emotional sound.”

The show will be one to remember, as it always is. But do not forget about the many street closures and traffic delays that will be in full effect on this day. All street, and lane closures are posted on Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show announcement.

There will also be TV streaming, if people do not have the opportunity of going to see the show in person. Streaming on most news networks will stream from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., when the show is expected to finish.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks show is something you do not want to miss.

After wash day care

During the days after wash day, especially once your hair has air dried, keep it moisturized! I constantly moisturize my hair with natural oils, such as coconut, carrot and argon. It is crucial you get to know the type of hair you have, and what products benefit your curls. Most of your journey will consist of trial and error with many product combinations and styles; which you’ll eventually understand what actually works and what’s the best combination of products. I also recommend buying the empty spray bottles, you can find at any dollar store or Walmart. This small tool will help you to easily moisturize and revive your curls for “next day” curls. I mix in leave-in conditioners and oils into the water mixture and apply that to my curls after wash day.

Styling my hair

After washing and deep conditioning, its time for the crucial part of styling your hair. Good practices to pick up would be sectioning your hair applying product throughout your entire scalp. It is crucial for you to section your hair, that way the product is evenly disbursed throughout. Usually I apply my leave-in conditioner first, then other conditioner, and curling cream. Also coconut oil is applied in the scalp and ends for moisture for when my hair dries. When I have a lot of time, I finger coil my hair by sectioning almost every curl and coiling it; this gets your curls accustomed to their natural pattern, and will eventually curl on its own as the hair becomes healthier.

The Journey

At first it may seem like an endless journey, trying to strive for greatness, but you feel like you are only failing miserably. Do not get discouraged because rebuilding your curls will be one of the most gratifying journeys, you will embark on. At first your curls may seem dead, dry with no curl pattern. But DO NOT get discouraged! The first advice of many is to DEEP CONDITION! I recommend buying alcohol and sulfate free brands, as these chemicals can deter your curly hair journey, and further damage your hair. I personally love using Shea Moisture Black Castor Oil leave-in conditioner, the OGX conditioner lines.
